The Primal Gods

The primal gods are the five most omnipresent divine beings in the Mithnir Chronicles. They have no beginning, no end. They are Dymas, Primal of Time, Cabeia, Primal of the Chaotic, Aidon, Primal of Order, Braisys, Primal of the Elements and Einex, Primal of Life. The primal gods are neither benevolent or malevolent, good nor evil. Their interaction with mortals is entirely nonexistent, at least not directly. They are a higher source of power by which the lesser gods created all things. Without the five primal gods, the lesser gods would not have existed.

There is one forgotten primal, one who was all but destroyed and banished into non-existence eons ago. This is Olthis, the Primal of Evil. Olthis has/had his own pantheon of lesser gods, some of whom may or may not still be active.

The Lesser Gods

The lesser gods are divines that all exist under the primal gods. For the most part follows an agenda ingrained in them by their primal god. Unlike the Primal Gods, these lesser divines can have varying alignments and motives, whether they be benevolent, evil, or neutral. These are the gods most commonly worshiped by mortals, for they are the only ones to have any rumored connection to mortals.

Deities and Ascended

There are many individuals who are either regarded as deities by their peoples, or even some who are ascended to divinity at the hands of the actual gods. Deities may or may not have any degree of divinity, depending on the situation. Some are ascended, others are only revered, while still others are divine by birth or blood.
