General Information

Vrynheld was once the seat of magical power within Everwind Country, until the High Elven city-state of Rothmanir gained prevalence. Though Vrynheld may have lost most of its magical prominence, it remains the most educated Human kingdom, rife with scholars and philosophers. Vyrnheld is an isolated land, and it enables their privacy. Its biggist exports are wine and spirits. It is a place of grasslands and wetlands, a verdant strip hidden high amid the mountains that isolate it from the rest of the region. The capital of this great land is Brightaerie Keep.

The principle deity is Aranthey Dionys, the Grand Patriarch of the Dionys bloodline, and founder of the kingdom. The people of Vrynheld are a cunning, industrious people, but they are known as knowledge seekers, studiers and deep thinkers. The library of Brightaerie Keep is the foremost center of knowledge in Everwind Country. The people of Vrynheld tend to keep to their own borders.

Emblem and Decree

Vrynheld's emblem is a great eagle, which adorns their flags, banners and walls. The eagle is also seen as statues and fountains all over their capital, Brightaerie Keep.

"To the heights of knowledge!" is the nation's decree, established by the founder.

Government

The Grand Queen of Vrynheld is Miriva Dionys. The kingdom chooses its next Grand King or Queen based upon the prior ruler's recommendations. Typically, those who are more educated, or who posses more magical knowledge, have a better chance of being chosen by the Grand Council of the Keep.

International Relations

Vrynheld enjoys peaceful relations with the other Human nations, especially Doromir, who aided them during the Grud'mok Invasion.

Zones of Control

Vrynheld controls only the territory for which it is named.
